Do you want the power of the Hellcat for less? Dodge has unrolled the latest version of its Charger with the 2015 Charger R/T Scat Pack, which integrates the power of the Hellcat into an affordable muscle car that has a 485-horsepower 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 engine. If you want more power and muscle in your drive for less, the 2015 Charger should definitely be in your wish list when looking for a Dodge in Indianapolis.
You might recognize the latest Charger as one of the cars being driven by the main characters in the new movie, Furious 7, and it's not that hard to see why this car was chosen for one of the movie's high-octane scenes. Not only is it pretty to look at on the outside, it also offers power that's more than enough for an average driver. When introducing the Scat Pack to the public, Dodge executive Bob Broderdorf assured everyone that the Charger is not only an affordable choice for people looking for a 6.4, but can also equal the performance offered by a Hellcat or an SRT.
Most of the SRT's interior amenities, such as the leather upholstery, heated front and rear seats, HID headlamps, and a power-adjustable steering column, made it to the Charger R/T Scat Pack. Unlike the SRT, though, the Scat Pack did away with the most unimportant features, giving way instead to greater power. Though packed with the Hellcat's Hemi V8 engine, offering about 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque, the Scat Pack loses the Hellcat's supercharge noise and offers a quieter ride without compromising power - enough to cruise along the highway.
The Scat Pack also features the Uconnect 8.4 infotainment system, an 8.4-inch touchscreen interface which presents an array of music sources, from radio and Bluetooth music streaming to a media hub equipped with USB and SC card slots. It doesn't stop there. The Uconnect also has an embedded cellular modem that offers in-car WiFi and Yelp for your local search needs. You can also install the car's companion smartphone app that enables you to lock or unlock your car and more with just a touch of your fingertip.
If you're after a good old-fashioned muscle car with all the power of the Hellcat and the features of an SRT, but without the expensive price tag, then the 2015 Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack is your best bet. The Scat Pack is now among the numerous cars in the list of Dodge dealerships in Indianapolis, such as Fletcher Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM.
