When faced with a challenge, it divides torque evenly between the front and rear axles. It can also shift smoothly from 2-wheel drive (2WD) and 4X4 at speeds of up to 45 MPH.
• Selec-Trac® Full-Time 4X4: The Selec-Trac® Full-Time 4X4 system features an active transfer case that automatically switches between 2WD and 4X4 by actively monitoring your roadway conditions. This provides constant adjustments so that you can maintain a firm grip. However, a Smart Lock system allows you to stay in 4X4 when you need it most.
• Rock-Trac® 4X4: The Rock-Trac® 4X4 system features an extra low-gear ratio that helps you crawl at low speeds during especially challenging conditions, like over rocks or sand.

Jeep Wrangler Performance

To match its impressive handling capabilities, the 2019 Jeep Wrangler is equipped with a powertrain that brings plenty of might to every adventure. You’ll have two engines to choose from:

• 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine: 285 horsepower, 260 lb-ft of torque
• 2.0L turbo I-4 engine: 270 horsepower, 295 lb-ft of torque
