Ram 1500: Smart Safety Features

Out of every feature built into the Ram 1500, perhaps none is more important than those designed to keep you safe. Luckily, this truck is equipped with a suite of smart safety features.

We mentioned above how adept the 1500 is for towing larger items. However, towing can often make the driving experience a bit more extensive. To combat this, Ram has created the optional Trailer Reverse Steering Control (TRSC). Here, the process of reversing the trailer is simplified through the Trailer Steering knob. When this knob is turned, the system will take care of steering, so you can focus on aligning your trailer while backing up.

Another innovative safety feature is Ram’s available Blind Spot Monitoring system. With two wide-band radar sensors in the taillamps, it will scan the blind spot zones behind your Ram 1500 for confident maneuvering.
